Yaesu FTM-500DR

The FTM-500DR connects via USB for CAT control. No Bluetooth is available on this radio. USB setup: Connect a standard USB-A to USB-B cable to the rear of the main unit. Linux detects it automatically. Install the Prolific PL2303 driver on Windows if needed. CAT: Yaesu CAT protocol. Frequency, mode, PTT control. Baud rate configurable in radio menu (default 9600). Audio: Use the 10-pin mini-DIN DATA port on the rear. Pin 1: 9600 baud discriminator audio out. Pin 4: PTT input (active low). Pin 5: audio input. Pin 9: ground. Connect to a USB audio interface via the DATA port. A Digirig Mobile or Signalink USB works well directly on this port.
