Yaesu FTM-300DR

The FTM-300DR is a dual-band C4FM/FM mobile (use FM for analog ORLP). The reliable node interface is the rear 10-pin mini-DIN DATA port — the same approach as the FTM-500DR. Audio & PTT: Use the 10-pin mini-DIN DATA port. Pin 1: 9600-baud discriminator audio out. Pin 5: audio (modulation) input. Pin 4: PTT input (active low). Pin 9: ground. A Digirig Mobile or SignaLink with the correct FTM-300 cable works directly on this port. CAT: Live USB CAT is limited on this radio; drive PTT from the DATA port (active-low) rather than relying on CAT keying. Set frequency and CTCSS from the radio or via programming software before deployment. Bluetooth: Built-in Bluetooth supports a wireless headset (KSC/SSM-style), not node control. Note: Keep the radio in FM (not C4FM) for analog linking.
