Yaesu FT-897D

The FT-897D is an HF/6m/2m/70cm all-mode portable/base. Control is Yaesu CAT over a serial port — use a CT-62 level-converter cable (or a USB-serial adapter) on the CAT jack. Audio in/out is via the 6-pin mini-DIN DATA (packet) port to a USB radio interface. PTT: the DATA-port PTT line, or via CAT. Set the CAT rate to match CT-62.
