USB-to-CI-V Cable (CT-17 style)

A USB-to-CI-V cable converts USB to Icom's CI-V bus on a 3.5mm jack — the modern replacement for the classic CT-17 level converter. Use it to give an ORLP node CI-V control of Icom radios that expose CI-V on a 3.5mm jack rather than native USB (e.g. the IC-2730A, ID-5100A). Why it matters: Many Icom mobiles/handhelds have CI-V but no USB port. This cable is the bridge for frequency/mode/PTT control. Note: Internally these are usually FTDI or CP210x based. Set the correct CI-V address and baud in both the radio menu and ORLP. CI-V is a shared bus — give each radio a unique address if more than one is connected.
