Kenwood TH-D75A

The TH-D75A connects via USB-C for serial CAT control and audio, or via Bluetooth HSP/SPP for wireless control. USB is recommended for node use. USB setup: Connect a USB-C cable. The radio presents as a virtual COM port. Use ORLP's Kenwood CAT driver for frequency and mode control. The TH-D75A also supports KISS mode TNC over USB for APRS operation. Bluetooth: Supports Bluetooth HSP (headset audio profile) and SPP (serial port profile for CAT and KISS TNC). Pair as KENWOOD TH-D75. SPP gives serial control equivalent to the USB connection. Audio: USB-C port handles audio in/out. No external audio interface needed. Built-in USB audio is suitable for ORLP node operation. PTT and COS: Controlled via serial CAT commands over USB or Bluetooth SPP.
