Icom IC-9700

The IC-9700 connects via USB for both CI-V CAT control and audio. LAN/WLAN remote control is also available for headless operation. USB setup: Connect a USB-A to USB-B cable. The IC-9700 presents as a CI-V virtual COM port plus a USB audio codec. No external audio interface required. In SET > Connectors > USB(AF), confirm the CI-V baud rate (default 115200). CI-V address defaults to 98h. Audio: Built-in USB audio codec — configure your ORLP audio device to the IC-9700 USB audio device. No external interface needed. PTT: PTT can be keyed via CI-V command over the USB connection. Set CI-V Transceive to ON for real-time frequency readback.
