Icom IC-7300MK2

The IC-7300MK2 (2025) is the updated direct-sampling SDR HF/6m base, a natural ORLP base / remote-base radio. It uses USB-C for CI-V plus the built-in audio codec. Connects over a single USB cable carrying both CI-V CAT control and a built-in USB audio codec — no external audio interface is required. Windows needs Icom's Silicon Labs CP210x driver; Linux and macOS detect it automatically. In the Connectors (USB) menu, confirm the CI-V address and USB baud rate and route data-mode audio to USB. PTT: key via CI-V command, or via USB RTS/DTR on the virtual COM port.
