Icom IC-7200

The IC-7200 is a rugged 100W HF/6m base and one of the first Icoms with a built-in USB codec, making it a simple single-cable ORLP base radio. Connects over a single USB cable carrying both CI-V CAT control and a built-in USB audio codec — no external audio interface is required. Windows needs Icom's Silicon Labs CP210x driver; Linux and macOS detect it automatically. In the Connectors (USB) menu, confirm the CI-V address and USB baud rate and route data-mode audio to USB. PTT: key via CI-V command, or via USB RTS/DTR on the virtual COM port.
