Connector Breakout Board (DB9 / DB15 / mini-DIN)

Breakout boards with screw terminals for DB9, HD-DB15, DB25, and 6-/10-pin mini-DIN connectors make repeater and radio control wiring tidy and serviceable. Why it matters: Interfacing a repeater (e.g. the Yaesu DR-1X breakout, or the DR-2X 3-row HD-DB15 CONTROL I/O) means routing COS, PTT, RX audio, and TX audio cleanly between the radio connector and a USB interface. A breakout board avoids fragile direct solder joints and makes the four signal lines easy to land and test. Use: Land the radio's connector on the breakout, then wire the four signals to your URI/DRA/RA interface. Keep audio and control runs short to reduce hum pickup.
