Anytone AT-D578UV III

The AT-D578UV III is a tri-band (2m/1.25m/70cm) DMR/FM mobile with USB-C and Bluetooth (use FM for analog ORLP). It offers partial CAT support similar to the D878 handheld. USB connection: USB-C presents a virtual COM port on all platforms (driver may be required on Windows). Anytone CAT (partially documented): frequency read/write and PTT work reliably; mode/S-meter readback vary by firmware. Audio: The USB connection does not carry audio on this model. Use the rear accessory port for receive/transmit audio into a USB audio interface. PTT: Via Anytone CAT command, or an active-low PTT line on the accessory port. Bluetooth: The optional Bluetooth PTT accessory is for hands-free use, not node control. Programming: Use Anytone CPS to set channels/CTCSS before deployment — ORLP cannot reliably write channel memories.
